Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti has gotten a response from the Minister of Education regarding the SexForGrades scandal and he’s quite livid over his insensitive remarks.
Since the SexForGrades documentary was released by investigative journalist, Kiki Mordi a few weeks ago, the whole nation was thrown into chaos. The minister of Education, Adamu Adamu and the government failed to make a quick response regarding the situation and this became an issue to all most especially the youths.
Seun Kuti known for being vocal when it comes to issues facing the country blasted the minister on many occasions for keeping mute about the scandal. However, the minister recently addressed the issue and his response somewhat insinuates that female students are the ones propelling lecturers to act in such a manner.
He took to his twitter page to express his disappointment in the Minister for making such an absurd statement about the scandal. He blasted him for giving the female students “Yeye Advise” and not revealing what the government plans to do about the situation.
