Cardi B turns 27 today.
In honor of his wife’s special day, Offset has penned a heartfelt tribute to the mother of his daughter. Taking to Instagram Friday, he posted a video montage featuring footage of the couple soundtracked by Alicia Keys’ “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready).”
“MY BEST FRIEND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, MY GUARDIAN ANGEL, KK’s MOM,” gushed the Migos rapper. “THIS DAY IS YOUR SPECIAL DAY I LOVE YOU, HAPPY BDAY!! NOT JUST ME AND FAMILY BUT THE WORLD LOVES YOU.”
So how did Kulture’s mother celebrate her big day? By getting some much-needed rest. She slept in until 2 p.m. “What is the best way to celebrate your birthday but to sleep?” said Cardi. “I haven’t slept longer than eight hours in like three weeks.”
She also thanked her fans for their b-day wishes. “I’m so overwhelmed with happiness,” she said. “I’m so happy. Thank you so much for the love.”
After resting up, Cardi will head back to the studio to record her sophomore album, which she says is titled Tiger Woods.
“Everything that I’m working on right now is straight to my album. Straight to my album,” she told her fans during a recent Instagram Live. “And I think I’m gonna name my album Tiger Woods. I think I’ma name my album Tiger Woods ‘cause remember when everybody was talking shit on Tiger Woods and then he fucking came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’ma name my album.”
