Kanye West Debuts At No. 1

bvcxJesus is King became Kanye West’s ninth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He tied Eminem’s streak for consecutive No. 1 entries in the chart’s history.

The project sold 264,000 equivalent album units for the week ending October 31. Approximately 109,000 of those were pure album sales.

Kanye’s only album to not debut at No. 1 was 2004’s The College Dropout.
